Illustrated with four folding engraved plates depicting battlefield scenes. Full contemporary pigskin over boards, elaborately decorated in blind, original clasps and straps intact, title in manuscript on upper spine; edges stained red; old abrasion at center and in top corner of title-page; text leaves moderately toned; scattered spotting to text; scattered wear along edges; contemporary marginalia O1v and O2r.
